The Healing Quilt Project Operation Needs


I.  Workshop space:

Schools, organizations, churches, community center and other community      

Spaces.

Working sewing machines of any age and various sizes.

 Tables:   to cut  and sew for quilt creating

Chairs/Stools: To work at tables for quilt creating and for sewing

    Machines to sit on.

Storage Bins for many various utensils for sewing

Shelves to store material and to store briefly, finished quilts.

Various containers for other smaller supplies.

 New or Good Computer

 Printer/Lexmark plus ink cartridges

 Copy paper, Iron on transfer paper, photo paper

 card stock/address labels

 file cabinet and folders 

 paper shredder


II. Other Tools Needed

Material Scissors Thread Stencils

Cutting tools Pencils Yarn Iron

Ironing board Old Blankets for quilt middles

Sewing machine needles


Due to no funds to clean materials, please donate clean and working tools and other donated items.

III.  There are no paid employees.  All work is done by volunteers and cash donations.

With every non-profit, there is a need for money donations.   Cash donations can be made at The Healing Quilt "Donation Account" at Great Southern Bank Springfield, MO. or please mail check(s) or money order(s) to the address listed at the top of the donation sheet.  These are used to buy lacking needed materials, maintaining sewing machines, give gas vouchers to deliver quilts to those in need ect . All donations are taxed deductible; receipts are given upon request.
